Being born of a mother who taught band and orchestra in public schools and also holds a degree in music and coming from a father who was a member of a gigging rock band for forty years (same three members during that time!) it comes as no surprise that Austin would follow a musical path. This path also includes teaching. He has been a professional guitar instructor for over eight years to students of all ages and musical interests. His approach to teaching is very dynamic in that his students not only benefit from learning the songs and riffs they want but also from a fairly strict music theory instruction that allows them to understand what they're playing. Austin has also taught music theory at the collegiate level and currently teaches it at Canterbury High School. Click on the Music Lessons tab above for more information.
At his core, Austin's number one passion is composing music. He enjoys composing and arranging for just about any style including classical, rock, pop, jazz, urban, and country. If your project or business is in need of an original musical score and/or theme Austin is available for hire. Click on the Composition/Arranging tab above for more information.
